New Features/Things Fixed in 9.01

General Notes
Books created in ToolBook 9.0 will
run in 9.01 without using the Version Updater
The ToolBook Instructor 9.01 release is backwards compatible with the 9.0 release. ToolBook files created in 9.0 do not have to go through any conversion process in order to work in the 9.01 release.
Once saved in version 9.01, your ToolBook files can still be opened by any ToolBook 9.0 user.
How to Move to Version 9.01
If you are using ToolBook Instructor 9.0
If you do not have access to the 9.01 CD ROM, you can optionally use the 9.01 Updater utility. You can download and install the Instructor 9.01 Updater by clicking on this link:

After you download the Updater to your hard drive, double-click the downloaded INST901UPDATE.EXE file to start the installation process. The updater will only update an existing installation of Instructor 9.0.
If you are using ToolBook Instructor 9.0 and have a valid Product Support contract
The ToolBook Instructor 9.01 Update Package will automatically be shipped, free of charge, to all owners of ToolBook Instructor 9.0 who have a current Product Support contract.
If you are using ToolBook Instructor 9.0 and do not have a valid Product Support contract
Owners of ToolBook Instructor who do not have a current Product Support Contract can obtain a ToolBook Instructor 9.01 CD ROM for a nominal fee by contacting ToolBook Sales at 866-SMTOTAL.
If you are not using ToolBook Instructor 9.0 and would like to upgrade to ToolBook Instructor 9.01
